"Nemesisters" by Babes in Toyland
This was the first of many discs that I bought at my favorite record exchange, and at the time, I was silly enough to think that 7.99 was a good price for an album that I didn't know. In the end, though, this disc is worth around what I paid for it: I'm not much of a Babes in Toyland fan, but "Nemesisters" is a fun romp through angry grrrl grunge, with the bonus of the best Pointer Sisters cover I've ever heard.
I wouldn't say this is anywhere near one of my favorite albums, but when I'm digging violent, psychotic vibes, which happens around once a month, I pull this out and enjoy "Hello" and "Ariel" as they're meant to be enjoyed - cranked up loud, with heavy doses of singing along. Side note: somewhere along the way, I lost my cover art for this disc (chances are good that I pinned it to the wall and it fell back somewhere).
